General Manager (Cafes & Restaurants) -Bahraini national

• *Reports To:** Director of Operations / Business Owner
• Job Summary:

The General Cafe Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations, growth, and expansion of a series of cafes in Bahrain, with strategic plans to extend into Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate possesses extensive food and beverage management experience, combined with strong marketing skills to promote brand growth across markets. This role involves strategic planning, staff development, quality assurance, and marketing initiatives to ensure successful expansion and operational excellence.
• Key Responsibilities:

- Lead over all management and expansion efforts for the cafe chain in Bahrain, and facilitate growth into Saudi Arabia.

- Develop, execute, and oversee operational policies, procedures, and standards to ensure consistency and brand integrity across all locations.

- Manage daily operations, ensuring top-quality food, beverage, customer service, cleanliness, and safety standards.

- Drive marketing strategies to boost brand visibility, attract new customers, and increase customer retention across both markets.

- Collaborate with local marketing teams or agencies to execute campaigns, social media, and promotional activities.

- Manage budgets, control costs, and maximize profitability across multiple locations.

- Recruit, train, and motivate staff, fostering a positive work environment that supports company values and growth.

- Monitor key performance indicators and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.

- Support site selection, lease negotiations, and setup of new locations in Saudi Arabia.

- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations in both Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.

- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and partners involved in expansion efforts.
• Qualifications:

- From 5 to 10 years of experience as a Cafe Manager, Restaurant Manager, or similar role, with a focus on food & beverage operations.

- Demonstrated success in managing multiple locations and leading business expansion projects.

-Willingness to travel to Saudi Arabia to oversee the expansion of the serie of the cafe

- Strong marketing skills, including digital marketing, social media, branding, and promotional campaigns.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Solid financial management skills, including budgeting, cost control, and sales growth strategies.

- Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation standards relevant to Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.

- Passion for hospitality and the food & beverage industry.

- Ability to adapt to a multicultural environment and work with diverse teams.
• Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with opening new locations, including site scouting, lease negotiations, and setup.

- Background in developing marketing initiatives for F&B brands.

- Familiarity with operational software and POS systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: BD1,500.000 - BD2,000.000 per month
