Location: Kuwait | 2025–2026 Academic Year
Position requires relocation; only candidates unaccompanied by dependents are eligible.
American International University (AIU) in Kuwait is seeking dynamic, student-focused faculty to join its Biomedical Engineering program in the School of Engineering & Computing. This is a full-time, on-ground role for individuals passionate about teaching abroad, mentoring students, and contributing to a growing international institution.
What You’ll Do
• Teach undergraduate courses in:
• Biomedical Signals and Systems
• Biomedical Instrumentation
• Medical Imaging
• Supervise and mentor undergraduate student projects
• Contribute to curriculum development and academic advising
• Participate in departmental, school, and university service
• Foster an inclusive and collaborative learning environment
• Engage in research and scholarly activity related to biomedical engineering
Qualifications
• Master’s or Ph.D.in Biomedical Engineering or a closely related field
• Strong communication skills in English (instruction is in English)
• Demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence and student success
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse faculty and student body
• Preferred:
• University-level teaching experience
• An active research agenda in biomedical systems or medical technologies
