Assistant Restaurant Manager – Food Outlets (Experience Mandatory)

Job description

FreshQA is looking for a dynamic and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our food outlets across Qatar. The ideal candidate must have prior experience managing food retail outlets or restaurants and possess a valid Qatari driving license. You will support the Operations Manager in ensuring smooth functioning, cost control, staff supervision, quality standards, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing the daily operations of multiple food outlets.

• Supervise outlet staff, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with company standards.

• Ensure proper food safety and hygiene practices are implemented at all locations.

• Monitor inventory, stock levels, and coordinate with the supply chain team.

• Support in scheduling, training, and motivating staff to achieve performance goals.

• Assist in budgeting, cost control, and outlet profitability analysis.

• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure operational excellence.

• Handle customer feedback and resolve issues in a timely manner.

• Coordinate marketing and promotional activities with the central team.

• Prepare and present operational reports to senior management.

• Ensure compliance with all local food handling, labor, and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience in managing food outlets, QSRs, or restaurants (mandatory).

• Valid Qatar Driving License (mandatory).

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Good knowledge of inventory and cost control practices.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Fluent in English; Arabic knowledge is an advantage.

• Flexibility to work on shifts, weekends, and travel between outlets.
